Arts Mastery is a year-long course which covers hundreds of topics related to career development for creative artists.
SECTION 1: THE BOSS has these key focal areas:
- Effective self-management, so you can be your own best boss
- The qualities of success: the mindset, perspectives and basic skills that most help your career progression
- Preparing for the long term by keeping good records and finding ways of measuring your progress.
Module 1: Working effectively covers a wide range of skills, perspectives and practical techniques to make you an effective self-manager. It contains 30 resources – video lessons, fact sheets, tools and tasks – across an Introductory Lesson and 3x weekly Lessons (4x weeks total).
Module 2: Qualities Of Success focuses on the interpersonal qualities and perspectives that can help you thrive while working in the creative industries. There are four weekly Lessons (4 weeks total) in this Module.
Module 3: Measuring and Record Keeping is still in the late stages of development and is not yet available.
Your content will be delivered via email and is also available on the Arts Business Academy Member Site.
You’ll need a minimum of two hours per week to go through the coursework and complete your Weekly Tasks. Having five hours per week is ideal.
